I take great pride in the attention to detail that is put into every house that carries the Sterling Builders name. You know, there’s quality and then there’s quality. True quality is as much unseen as it is seen. In a home, that includes everything from structural integrity to energy efficiency to the quality control I put into every home. I limit the number of houses I will build at one time so I can be very involved at every phase of construction. I hold my subcontractors to a very high standard, and they know that. They know if it doesn't look right, even if its level and plumb, I won’t hesitate to make them redo it. My reputation as a great builder is that I am very detail-oriented, and that’s why most clients choose me. I want to live up to that reputation with each house that I build.

You know, there are really two kinds of builders in this market. There are those who saw an opportunity to make money during the housing boom and took it, and there are those who love to build. I think if I were looking for a builder today, I'd look for the person who honestly has a passion for construction. You can always tell this kind of builder because they tend to go on and on and on about materials and methods of construction until your head spins.

I build homes because I love construction. I want to build everything I see, the more detail in my work the better. I can walk into a building, and even as I look around, my mind begins to plan out the construction of that structure. I have earned a bachelors degree in Science & Technology with a major in Construction Management. During my experiences I had an opportunity to work and learn from some great companies including Walt Disney World, a National Builder, and a small custom builder in Belmont, CA. These experiences have allowed me to set myself apart from the tense competition.

I approach each project the same way, with the mindset that it has to be built as close to perfect as is possible. It’s got to be better-built than the competition and more beautiful than any previous home I've built. The constant strive for exceptional customer satisfaction is the well known goal at Sterling Builders, Inc. These are a few of the challenges that help to set me apart in this business.

It's disappointing to see builders who don't really care about the construction aspect of the business. I say, life's too short. Do what you love…and I love building quality homes.
